Three intrepid explorers are gallantly travelling the length of India to raise funds for three charities: The Waterberg Trust, Save the Waterberg Rhino and Cool Earth.
‘We are a three man team, Sam Whitbread, Tobin Mills and Monty Owen, who in August 2015 will be driving the length of India, top to bottom plus a bit more. Our transport is a motorised rickshaw or tuk tuk that has a grand total of 8 horsepower. The route is 3,500km from Shillong in the north east to Cochin in the south.
The purpose of this expedition is to explore India whilst raising funds for three causes we care about. Whilst travelling Monty will post photos on Instagram here.
We are paying all of our own costs and so all funds received will go directly to our charities.
Save The Waterberg Rhino – which raises awareness and support for the war against rhino poaching.
Cool Earth – who work alongside indigenous villages to halt rainforest destruction worldwide. They are hosting the fundraising project.
